Hallie currently holds the title of Miss Commonwealth 2019, and competed at the Miss Virginia pageant in June, where she won non-finalist talent, the Making it Matter Award and was a finalist for the Runk & Pratt Empowering Women Scholarship. Through her platform as Miss Commonwealth, she has advocated for inclusion across Virginia and has traveled over 12,000 miles in total promoting her social impact initiative, 1 in 59: Ending the Stigma of Autism. As a ventriloquist, she uses her talent in classrooms to teach students leadership skills, communication skills and the concept of inclusive leadership. As a former patient of the Children’s Hospital of Richmond, she has also worked to promote the mission of the Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals through hosting fundraisers and raising awareness.
